Why I ride dirt bike?

If I had any normal amount of sense I would have quit riding dirt bikes years ago.  Really 55 year old guys are out trying to make doubles anymore, 15 year old kids yes.

Everyday I thank my maker I ain’t normal.  I always feel most at home on my dirt bike.

One of  my mentors  speaks often of living in the moment.  Experiencing each moment to the  fullest. Enjoying a heightened mental awareness.

I often experience this on my dirt bike.  I  get to live in the moment, I see every dirt clod, rock, and bush on the track/trail.   I feel at one with my bike.

Too much time is spent thinking about the past or the future. The past is gone and future hasn’t arrived yet.  Time only exists so everything doesn’t happen at once.

That’s why I ride.  To experience the now moment to the fullest.
